This policy explains what information ReviewBob LLC ("ReviewBob," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. It covers visitors to reviewbob.com, businesses that use our service ("clients"), and our clients' customers who receive messages from us on a client's behalf.
What we collect
- From you directly: your name, business name, email, phone number, and anything you share when you book a call or contact us.
- From our clients: their customers' names, phone numbers, emails, and job details, so we can ask for reviews.
- From people who contact our clients: names, phone numbers, and call or text details, so our booking bot can respond and book appointments.
- Automatically: basic website data such as browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To provide our services, like review requests and booking bot replies
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and support
- To improve our website and service
- To comply with the law
Calls and texts
We text on behalf of our clients:
- Their customers, to ask for a review (one request and up to 3 follow-ups per job)
- People who call or text them, to answer questions and book appointments
Our booking bot may use AI to answer, and calls may be recorded and transcribed. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as our messaging, email, hosting, and payment providers, who may use it only to provide those services
- With the client a customer did business with
- When required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we provide our service to a client, and as needed to meet legal and billing requirements. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop receiving emails.
- Email us to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it.
Children
Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the effective date above.
